Cortana is now available to all Android users - well at least in select regions. Microsoft has announced the public beta of its digital voice assistant for devices powered by Google's mobile operating system. Cortana is available for download in the US via Google Play Store. It is officially not yet available in India, but you can still sideload it on your device.

YouTube Gaming is a great reminder of everything YouTube already does
YouTube is already a big player in live video. YouTube is already a big player in gaming. As of today, Google is promoting the intersection of the two with YouTube Gaming, a dedicated site and separate app that's supposed to directly compete with Twitch's popular streaming platform. YouTube Gaming is a more obviously gaming-focused version of the standard interface; the announcement post billed it as a place where "you can search with confidence, knowing that typing 'call' will show you Call of Duty and not 'Call Me Maybe.'"

Most people don't bother with the Wi-Fi router -- it's typically set up by the service provider or IT guy and it remains in that state for its usable life.
However, you can fix many issues like low coverage, add features to your Wi-Fi setup and stop people from stealing your Wi-Fi quite easily. We show you how.

Just Cause 3 Preview: Everything Is Better With Explosions
Open-world third-person shooter series Just Cause is known for its explosions and action-packed gameplay. Creator Avalanche Studios sums up the latest entry, Just Cause 3 as "blowing things up with fun characters," citing movies such as The Expendables, Tropic Thunder, and True Lies as being some of its inspirations - and rightly so. Almost everything in the game can explode, from cars to satellite arrays and everything in between.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Is Real, And It's Amazing
The hotly anticipated open-world stealth action game Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been in the news for everything but the game itself. There have been allegations of mistreatment of staff and a soaring development budget of $80 million; the spectacle behind series creator Hideo Kojima's final game at Konami is palpable.

Two indie pretenders to the 'XCOM' crown
2012's XCOM: Enemy Unknown was a revelation. I'd never played the '90s original or its successors, but I was immediately drawn in by the reboot's story, world and, most of all, combat mechanics. At its heart, XCOM is a turn-based strategy game that pits your team of four soldiers against an alien invasion. As anyone who has played it at all will tell you, though, it's so much more than that. A sequel is coming this November, but in the meantime, a pair of independent developers are readying their own takes on the genre, and they both have the potential to be truly special games in their own right.

Crystal Dynamics is putting the 'tomb' back in 'Tomb Raider'
2013's Tomb Raider was a reboot of a game that defined the 3rd-person adventure genre. It represented a change in direction for the series, one that took cues from successful titles like Uncharted to breathe fresh life into what had become a tired franchise. But while critics rightfully praised the game's many strengths, the core of the original's gameplay -- tomb raiding -- was pushed to one side, with most of the game consisting of stealth, combat, and survival. For the timed Xbox exclusive Rise of the Tomb Raider, developer Crystal Dynamics is bringing back tombs in a big way, and making some intelligent design decisions to update the old gameplay for the modern era.

Cool Tricks for Google Hangouts You (Probably) Didn't Know Existed
There are a lot of Gmail users out there who access Google Hangouts on a regular basis, but don't even realize it. Hangouts has been the default in-browser chat client in Gmail (or Google+, if you're weird) for many years, but many users still refer to it by the name of its less-versatile predecessor, Google Chat (or colloquially, "Gchat").
