Marble Rocks, Madhya Pradesh

These rocks are blue- and brown-coloured on either side of the river Narmada. Cable car rides and boating are popular activities here. In the film, the sultry song “Raat Ka Nasha Abhi” was shot here.

Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh

Known as the ‘Queen of Satpura’, this is an outstanding hill station in central India. The song “Sansanana” was shot here.

Fort Ahliya, Madhya Pradesh

The fort was built for the great Maratha Queen Rajmata Ahilya Devi Holkar. It has now been converted into a heritage hotel. It served as the palace of Asoka in the film.

Udayagiri Caves, Odisha

These caves have carvings which date back to the 2nd century BC. Some of the caves are natural and others are artificially created. In the film, this is where Kaurawaki learns of her past from the senapathi.

Mukteswar Temple Complex, Odisha

The Mukteswar Temples are an example of hypnotic architecture. Dating back from the 10th century, they have a five-sectioned pancharatna form. In the film, Kaurawaki practices sword fighting at this location. The temples also host the Mukteswar Dance Festival each year.
